Tate is the Chief Financial Officer and Partner at Alua Capital. Before joining Alua Capital in 2020, Tate was the Chief Financial Officer at Lake Trail Capital. Prior to Lake Trail, Tate served as Head of the Family Office at Viking Global Investors; Director of Finance and Accounting at QFS Asset Management LP, a quantitative investment firm in Greenwich, CT; Family Office Director at Chilton Investment Company, a public markets investment firm in Stamford, CT; and was a Manager at Geller & Company, an accounting, financial advisory and wealth management firm. Tate began his career at KPMG working in the San Antonio, TX and New York, NY offices.

Tate was a Partner upon the formation of Alua Capital and serves on the firm’s Management Committee.
